- Introduction
- This is a reconstruction project of Korea Liberation Association Building financed by pro-Japanese government-vested property fund. The project contains a significant purpose to increase the assets of patriots and vitalize support projects of men of merit for independence movement and bereaved families by using the rental income of the newly built Korea Liberation Association Building. "Embracing the light of liberty" was the main design concept, where "Wall of light" was projected to the building to honor the spirit of the prefecture. The basement and commercial facilities on the lower floor levels were designed three-dimensionally connected with the outside streets in order to vitalize the space by attracting the visitors. The large auditorium and a work space, used by Korea Liberation Association, are located on 3F & 4F and can be operated independently and for various uses. The upper floors of the building are planned as rental offices that are designed for smart office with high space efficiency and variable configuration.
