Introduction: Gyeongju LUNA X Country Club is a new concept golf club located in Gyeongju Cheonbuk Tourism Complex. The basic plan was initiated as a 27-hole layout + golf village, but a new plan was set up with the goal to lead a new culture of golf courses. As a result of long consideration aiming to introduce a reasonable operating method while actively responding to the various demands of golfers, a total of 24-hole (6 holes x 4 courses) + 100% no-caddy system and basic auxiliary facilities were planned. The clubhouse, which sits low on the main driveway, allows visitors to pass through a distinctive moon-themed entrance. Unlike other clubhouses, the locker room, which generally occupies the largest space, was minimized and efforts were put into planning so that only customers in need may utilize the space without any inconveniences. The exterior deck of the clubhouse was set up as the main design element as well as a space element where customers can dine and observe golf games enabling it to be an organically continuous space between the inside and the outside.
