- Introduction
- Designed through collaborative efforts between Heerim and specialized semiconductor professionals from Jusung, the "Jusung Engineering R&D Center" is strategically located in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. Established in 1993, Jusung Engineering aimed to bolster its research and development capabilities and consolidate its R&D facilities. The core design element of the integrated research facility focuses on maintaining air control and cleanliness in semiconductor processes. To achieve this, a well-planned Return Space was incorporated to facilitate the circulation of clean air, with the design centered around the Clean Fab, incorporating Sub-Fab spaces both above and below. Additionally, to ensure optimal air cleanliness, HEPA filters are installed in the ceiling, and return grills are planned in the flooring. The HVAC system is designed to circulate indoor air and maintain cleanliness, achieving an optimal Clean Fab system with a cleanliness level of 1,000. Heerim's DCM (Design + Construction Management) service, leveraging its strengths in efficiency and rapid execution, was provided to maximize client Jusung's responsiveness and efficiency. The project, utilizing a fast-track method where design and construction proceed simultaneously, was completed in January 2020.
