Suwon District Court is a 19F/B3 building with G.F.A 89,280㎡ and 32,925㎡ of site area. Relocation and New Construction plan of Suwon District Court was carried forward in 2011 and Heerim won the design competition in 2012. During the project implementation, the structure was switched over to consignment development through KAMCO, as the related laws were revised and the Suwon High Court was added to scope of work. Since the introduction of the state-owned property consignment development project, it has become the largest state-owned land development project of Suwon District Court. The Suwon High Court is the sixth in the country, and the first high court in the basic autonomous community. The jurisdiction population is about 8,177,000, which is the second largest population after the Seoul High Court. It is responsible for the appeal cases of five regions such as Suwon, Seongnam, Ahnsan, Ahnyang, Pyeongtaek, Yeoju, which were under the jurisdiction of the Seoul high Court. Suwon District Court has formed an image of an open court approaching to public in friendly way by planning the court at foreside. For the convenience of citizens, the Public Service Center was planned on the north side of the public circulation to implement an open court that communicates with the public. In addition, the court is designed in harmony with nature that overlooks the lake park and Gwanggyo mountain, and the court has a reasonable functionality by planning the zoning system linking the court and public service area.
