Design
- Introduction
- National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK) goes beyond being a simple financial institution, basing its philosophy on a human-centered and member-oriented approach. Rather than prioritizing individuality and competition, NACUFOK is committed to the practice of "togetherness" over solitude and "sharing" over competition. The new NACUFOK Training Institute is meticulously designed to encapsulate the spirit and values of Credit Union Movement, emphasizing mutual communication and shared experiences. Taking into account the principles of topography in Feng Shui (a mountain in the back and a river in the front, lower level in the front and higher in the back, and narrow in the front and wide in the back), the institute strategically places a central plaza featuring NACUFOK 's logo and commemorative monument to enhance symbolism. The external spaces consist of a central courtyard, a sports field, and sculptures symbolizing the spirit of NACUFOK. The interior spaces, including educational and accommodation wings, maintain clear distinctions to ensure the privacy of trainee while accommodating the functional needs of administrators. Spaces promoting sharing and communication, such as the library, meeting rooms, cafe, and fitness center, are strategically placed between the educational and accommodation wings to enhance overall facility usability. Outdoor resting areas, including a rooftop garden and a rear deck on the second floor of the educational building, are designed to represent a 21st-century NACUFOK. The NACUFOK Training Institute, leveraging Heerim's strengths in Design + Construction Management (DCM), was completed in June 2020, reflecting the cooperative spirit and values of NACUFOK while ensuring swift decision-making and high-quality execution.
