The project won the international design competition of CNIA in Abu Dhabi. Through its 2030 Plan, Abu Dhabi is pursuing to become a Carbon Zero City, an admirable enterprise.
The CNIA office building was designed as a new environmental friendly building of the growing Abu Dhabi, as well as a building intended to represent the identity of the institute protecting the nation’s infrastructure. The identity of CNIA as protector of the infrastructure and important assets of Abu Dhabi was embodied through the concept of ‘Green Shield’.
The two envelopes, the octagonal pattern frame representing Islam, which was inspired by the logo of CNIA, and the envelope consisting of greens, were designed to surround the entire building.
