- Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet is not a typical suburban outlet but rather an urban outlet, marking the first large-scale integrated shopping and cultural space in Songdo International City with three underground floors and three above-ground floors. It combines an outdoor and inner mall format, featuring a distinctive design. The outlet maximizes visibility with a design emphasizing a symbiotic arrangement with adjacent subway stations and a public pedestrian pathway that cuts through the outlet. Specifically, it strategically places vehicle entrances and exits on three sides of the road to facilitate smooth traffic flow, creating a convenient and enjoyable shopping environment for customers. Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet, designed with potential expansion for a second phase that includes the expansion of Hyundai Department Store, has allocated around 9,000 pyeong of the 18,000 pyeong site for the outlet. The outdoor parking area is planned for the second phase, accommodating the location of Hyundai Department Store. Currently, Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet breaks away from the fixed concept of traditional outlets, serving as a space not just for shopping but also as a leisure area for families, earning significant popularity among residents.
