- Introduction
- Located near Techno Park Station on Incheon Subway Line 1, Songdo Triple Street is designed to be more than a simple commercial facility, aspiring to become a representative walking street in Korea. Positioned as a family-oriented complex cultural space that combines leisure, culture, and healing, Songdo Triple Street offers a place where everyone wants to visit – a street filled with diverse experiences and enjoyment, providing various festivals and attractions throughout the year. The shopping street, covering an underground area of 122,000 square meters and an above-ground area of 58,000 square meters, centers around a 550m-long linear street, featuring renowned brand stores, a multiplex cinema, a hologram theater, and a virtual reality (VR) theme park. Triple Street incorporates natural terrain changes such as hills and ridges, rarely found in Songdo, into its architectural design, offering a specialized landscape that considers the panoramic views visible from the air for visitors and local residents alike. The rooftop park, primarily green, provides a relaxing space for both visitors and city dwellers. Additionally, it plays a role as a horizontal landmark responding to the vertical landmarks of high-rise buildings in Songdo, forming a city-scale landscape with extensive green areas. Triple Street consists of three types of shopping streets simultaneously: the large-scale Underground Street centered on the basement level, the Ground Street focusing on the 1st floor, and the Sky Street offering various outdoor activities and relaxation spaces on the rooftop. It encompasses various facilities such as not only retail spaces but also diverse dining options, cinemas, banquet halls, entertainment facilities, and IT-themed gaming facilities. Songdo Triple Street is expected to establish itself as a representative lifestyle shopping center in Songdo, meeting the diverse needs of consumers.
