- Introduction
- This new city master plan for the Kigamboni region, located in the southern side of the Tanzanian capital city, was a project designed to improve the competitiveness of the country through the revitalization of industry and tourism, ad to help solve numerous problems in population, traffic, and housing with the expansion of the old city center. Heerim participated in a consortium with the Korea Land Corporation and two local Tanzanian companies, ultimately selected as the preferred bidder by the Tanzanian government. This is the first successful foreign bid the Korea Land Corporation and a commercial partner have made.
