Introduction
The Yongin Jukjeon-dong Data Center is the largest data center in Korea with a power voltage of 154kV and capacity of 100MW. It operates on a dual circuit (parallel dual-circuit) power distribution system. Its main transformer comprises 4 units with a capacity of 50MW each. In the event of a failure in one unit, a transition to a standby transformer will provide uninterrupted power supply. Moreover, to safeguard against blackout, the center is equipped with 30 gas turbine generators spread across two buildings; 13 units of 4,800kW in Building A and 17 units of 4,000kW in Building B. Fuel tanks holds 2 million liters to ensure 24-hour operation during blackout. The duplex systems are designed to meet the demands of global companies, ensuring the highest reliability of critical equipment. A net floor area of the data center is approximately 900pyeong (2,975m²), including 4 floors and 2 buildings (A and B), and is slated for global companies to move in.
