Introduction: With the award of Gyeyang-Namdong Stadium for 2014 Incheon Asian Games, Heerim provided a full range of ‘customized services’ from feasibility study, architectural design, and related authority approval services up to setting up of maintenance management system. The project not only benefited Incheon City with reduced project cost, but it is also furnished with community-friendly sports facilities considering the post-games maintenance and operation. Unlike other stadiums, Gyeyang-Namdong Stadium is recognized for its green-oriented approaches acquiring a number of certificates for its energy performance, green building, barrier free solutions and the use of new and renewable energy.
