Design
- Introduction
- The design of KATS focuses on the relationship between the surrounding environment and architecture such as the waterside park and Hambaksan Mountain. A podium creates a communication ground responding to the water space, which is the center of the park. Park and architecture were influenced by planning functional programs on top of it that allowed designing the green landmark which integrates green space, water system and architecture harmoniously. There are flow of retension basin around the site, the natural elements of the park and the visual flow with mountain Hambak. KATS is set as a medium of communication that freely corresponds to people and city.
