- Introduction
- Chungbuk National University Hospital Cancer Center is a new cancer specialist center established by Chungbuk National University College of Medical and its affiliated hospital. Heerim, in consortium with BAUMCNC, conducted a technical proposal bid for the construction documentation along with various construction companies. As a result, CURE (Circulation, Unceasing, Recovery, Environment), embodying four essential values of a tertiary hospital’s operation and facilities, were proposed. Circulation aims to maximize transportation efficiency by considering the effective movement of vehicles, including emergencies. Unceasing enables the use of other nearby hospitals and establishes an unceased construction plan to ensure safety during construction. Recovery focuses on building high-quality medical facilities for patients, while Environment considers user convenience through eco-friendly designs and environmental improvements. With 50 years of experience and know-how, Heerim is expected to guarantee quality that meets the demands of Chungbuk National University Hospital. Furthermore, Chungbuk National University Hosospital Cancer Center emphasizes sustainable eco-friendly design through an eco-friendly mass landscaping plan and is anticipated to elevate its status as a cancer specialist center in the future.
