Jinchun High School Building-integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV)

Jincheon High School was selected as the second school to be demonstrated in the national R&D project, "Development project of school building integrated photovoltaic products & fusion system"

The main building of Jincheon High School has been in use for 43 years, which has been damaged by the storm of time; and three new facilities including a dormitory and a gymnasium are around the main building.

Brick patterns from the new buildings are applied to the elevation design of the BIPV to harmonize with the campus. By using the 3D scanners for accurate measurements, errors between the drawings and the actual construction are minimized.

The selected elevation design concept is "Frame" which captures the precious moments of school life. The valuable memories that the school hopes to present to students are illustrated in the passionate and solid brick pattern.
