Introduction: This project was intended to improve the image of the municipal hospital by establishing the Seoul Medical Center as a cutting-edge public medical institute. Advanced medical facilities were established and the concepts of a care environment that helps patients recover were referred to. Maximum natural lightings, pleasant indoor space, and a harmonious special realization with the surrounding environments were pursued, applying the environmental friendly concept.
