- Introduction
- Heerim completed the comprehensive construction supervision service of the Happy City National Library - a national library of Korea which is located at San 114, Eojin-dong, Sejong city and consists of two basement floors and four above-ground floors. Children's Library, stack rooms, underground parking, and MEP rooms are located on the basement floors. The lobby is located on the first floor, the user service room is on the second floor, educational facilities such as lecture rooms are on the third floor, and a restaurant and cafeteria are placed on the 4th floor. By actively utilizing 3D BIM systems for safety management, the building acquired Level 1 certification for both Building Energy Efficiency and Barrier-Free(BF) Environment. Therefore, the project features the characteristics of optimizing the indoor acoustic environment and maximizing the use of new and renewable energy.
