Design
- Introduction
- The design motif of the project is the spreading shape of the light through a prism and it represents the National HRD Institute where various talented personnel will be trained. Layout of both educational/office building in the north and dormitory building overlooking Hambak Mt. in the south gives great views and independence to the building users; two buildings are connected by the central welfare facility (restaurant and lobby) on the first floor for convenience. Moreover, granite façade design using two kinds of repeated patterns has been suggested to meet the client’s design requirements.
