Korean Medical Association Hall

CM
Introduction
Through fundraising from various professions in the medical community, the new hall was built after demolishing the existing building built in April 1974. A detailed bird's eye view of the building was achieved by conducting an architectural design and slogan contest. The total floor area, excluding the underground parking lot, was increased by 1.3 times compared to the existing Assembly Hall, and the space arrangement maximizing efficiency and practicality enhanced comfort and spatial utilization. In addition, it is expected to begin the 2nd era for Ichon-dong as the building representing the 100-year history of the Medical Association is grand and modern meeting the wishes and status of its members, and encompasses functionality and professionalism while gaining public trust in a symbolic sense. Currently, the excavation of the 4th-floor basement foundation and the soil removal activities are in progress, and the simultaneous construction method of the basement and the above-ground floors will be conducted following the completion of the basement foundation.
