- The National Cancer Center Main Building, serving as Korea's first cancer ward for over 20 years, will undergo a transformative remodeling plan due to its outdated condition to enhance the facility and introduce new medical services. The plan prioritizes improving patient safety and minimizing infection risk among patients and medical staff through an optimized spatial layout. Aged facilities will be completely modernized to meet current standards and adapt to evolving medical needs. To establish a unified and modern aesthetic, a vertical image will harmonize with the surrounding facades as a cohesive design. a meticulously planned schedule for each construction phase will ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
