Design
- Introduction
- Sejong JungHeung S-Class EduMark, located in 3-3 living zone of the Multifunctional Administrative City, is a low-rise residential complex consisting of 10 story to 18 story apartments above the ground. The complex faces the Bihaksan Mountain to the south and the neighborhood park of the green belt connecting the nature of Geum riverside and Bihaksan Mountain to the west sharing the rich landscape and natural environment. By taking advantage of these characteristics of the site, 10-story low-rise main apartment building was arranged considering human scale of west side neighborhood park as well as another main apartment building at the southern side considering Bihaksan Mountain view. Moreover, overlapped scenery resulted variance in the height of buildings creating a dynamic skyline. In addition, in the center of the complex, symbolic tower-type apartment building was arranged and various types of residential were presented including a low rise terraced house combined with the neighboring park as well as multi - storied duplex apartments utilizing the level difference to plan a continuous and energetic road. Through this specialized Block Design and Site plan, the complex was designed to harmonize with nature as an intermediate space that connects daily life of urban residents with nature.
