Introduction
This project is a contribution facility to Gangnam-gu from Brighten N40 residential project, locating at 44, Nonhyeon-ro 131-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In close collaboration with the Gangnam-gu, purpose of the building was to be finalized as a library, cultural center, and office. The building has 6 underground floors with 5 ground floors. Parking spaces are located from B6 to 2F, cultural center at 1F to 3F, and library at 4F to 5F. Concept of the facade is a pure, simple white mass filled with transparent and lightweight light. While mass itself is simple, louvered openings amplify striking visual effects. Interior features a grand stair and atrium at its core, adding depth to the pristine white space. Since its opening, Nonhyeon Culture Floor has gained widespread attention as a cultural hub for the local community. With is name "Cultural Floor", it will continue to establish itself as a cultural space for residents.
