- Introduction
- As a complex buidling located in the center of Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, it provides excellent accessibility to tourists and business customers. From the ground to 3rd floors retails will be opened, and the rest of floors will be operated as a dual brand, Mokshi Hotel from the 5th to 8th floors, and Le Meridian Hotel from the 9th to 15th floors. The project site located adjacent to Myeongdong Street with a large floating population with a large excavation area of 3,450㎡ and also considering that a number of structures that have been completed for more than 20 years are close to each other, the cast-in-place pile construction with excellent wall rigidity was selected as a main shoring system. In addition, top-down construction was appointed for excavation work due to difficulty of setting occupation space in adjacent areas. By high-speed network, a hotel concierge robot was installed to plan unmanned room services. Hot water supply facilities using fuel cells and rainwater reuse system were planned for new renewable energy.
