- Introduction
- Master Plan Concept of Facilities of Nazarbayev University Hospital' was a private contract signed with the client by Heerim's Astana Branch Office. The main objective of the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine is to link five independent institutions to a single integrated medical campus, based on clinical medicine, science and education to establish a high-quality medical model in Kazakhstan and provide optimal medical services. In order to achieve this goal, Heerim proposed the concept of 'Perimeter Band' that weaves five campuses into one band, and planned three front plazas to enable mutual exchange between city and medical campus. Moreover, space configuration for various extension facilities were planned for patients, doctors, staff and visitors and landscape design was proposed in consideration with local climate and culture. Meanwhile, the 'Master Plan Concept of Facilities of Nazarbayev University Hospital' project was successfully completed by obtaining the final approval of Astana City Council on March 27, 2017.
