Design
- Introduction
- A pleasant indoor environment and eco-friendly planning techniques were actively used for designing apartment block plan by refelcting the green environment in consideration with the ecological environment for the low carbon green growth, insulation and natural ventilation. An open space connecting the circulation from the neighboring park on the east side to inside of the complex and continual watercourse, water space were installed that consider hydroecological environment. A green bicycle road that reaches from the house to the Han river and a wind path that opens to the Han river was formed between the apartment blocks. A pedestrian circulation system in the complex was formed in consideration with the linkage of the community facilities with surrounding conditions, and the complex was planned to maximize the visual openness created at pedestrian level. The facade of the building was designed to emphasize the horizontal segment of the mass with emphasis on the rhythm of water and wind, where the roof was designed to express a pleasant living environment and unrestrictedness.
