Located on the foot of the Baebongsan mountain on the campus of the University of Seoul, Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, next to the scheduled site for the Cetennial Hall where the existing music hall was, the construction cost is around 11.8 billion KRW and about 75% of the work has been compeleted after 15 months of construction out of the total construction schedule of 18 months.
Interior work is in progress right now and the sound equipments for the 300-seat concert hall, the orchestra room and the lesson rooms have finished installation. Although a lot of difficulties such as the 16m long-span RC structure, the high floor height, and the curved sections came out during the construction, all of the problems were successfully resolved to build the best music hall worthy of its name.
