As the part of relocating the majority of ministries and government institutes to promote balanced national development and decentralization, 2nd Stage of Multifunctional Administrative City Government Office Building Project in 2nd District is located in the Public Administration Town 1-5 living zone in Eojin-dong, Sejong City.
While adopting the design according to the central administrative town master plan, the building was designed with reinforced concrete and steel frame for structure and double-glazed window with a low-E glass and aluminum composite panel for exterior.
Especially, Openness and publicity as 'open government buildings' were emphasized by reflecting the improvement through the problem analysis of the 1st stage in the design.
This Multifunctional Administrative City Government Office Building where 11 ministries and government institutes including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will move in focused on the progress management and quality control in order to meet the deadline of relocation schedule despite its the tight construction schedule.
