- Introduction
- The land for the Cheonan General Culture and Art Center is located between the natural green area in the south and the central park in the north inside the Cheonan General Resort and Tourism Center, and its major designed facilities are the main theatre, the small theatre, the culture education facility, and the art gallery. The main theatre was arranged at the center of the building to present musicals, operas, concerts, and large-scale touring concerts, while the smaller theatre was designed for multiple purposes such as performances by regional artists, plays, and academic forums. The world’s best ‘Marine Biodiversity Research Institute’ has been planned efficiently to preserve marine biological resources. The main theme of ‘creation of nature,’ involving the communion between land and ocean through the tide and ebb and flowing water, has been represented as a horizontal and vertical flow of mass.
