- Introduction
- Democratic Republic of the Congo has vast reserves of natural resources, and with source of water from Congo River, Congo plays an important role as the main gate of Central African countries. In light of Congo’s infinite potential, Heerim proposed a new self-contained cultural and industrial city for Congo to reborn as the jewel of Africa. ILLUME CITY - the name of the new town is an archaic and poetic word meaning “shine brightly, enlighten and reform”. It also contains wishing messages for Congo to spread hope, prosperity and the light of glory throughout Africa.
