Introduction: Eunpyeong New Town, a part of Seoul's urban development project, embarked on its journey in 2002 as part of the city's ambitious New Town development initiative.
The project aimed to create a well-rounded new city with residential, office, cultural, and public facilities. Embracing the concept of "harmony between humans and nature, water and greenery," Eunpyeong New Town was envisioned as a spacious and scenically beautiful "resort-style eco-friendly city" and a "future-oriented community for harmonious living."
