- Introduction
- The UHS University Hospital, which operates under the Cambodian Ministry of Health, is designed to be Cambodia's premier medical facility offering cutting-edge healthcare services. It plays a pivotal role in establishing the standards for integrated clinical medical education by bringing together eight university hospitals within Cambodia. The site is situated in a designated development zone northwest of central Phnom Penh, aligning with the Brand Phnom Penh International City master plan, which anticipates significant population influx and the relocation of central city functions. The main functions are organized along Hospital Street to facilitate intuitive wayfinding, and the plan is designed to encourage horizontal expansion to minimize operational disruptions during future expansions.
