Introduction: Korea Electric Power Corporation Engineering & Construction Company (KEPCO E&C) is a world-class company having the best power plant engineering technology design, which has moved its headquarter building to Gimcheon to follow public sector relocation policy for balanced national development. KEPCO E&C New Headquarter is the most stand out high-rise building with 28F/B2F in Gimcheon Innovation City, where the park, city and people come together in one space. Outdoor spaces located in south such as Yulgok stream, Woore lake park, sports park on the site, Mul-bit garden, Energy park are connected with each other to create more various communication place for local residents. Additionally, both north and south front views are secured for understanding of city's streetscape and the facade design of tower building with combination of glass surface and protruded metal panel plays a role of an awning that blocks direct sunlight from the south, which shows a new identity of KEPCO E&C building. A new headquarter of KEPCO E&C expresses a symbol of global energy corporation as a representative energy saving, low-carbon green building and it became the new landmark of Gimcheon Innovation City.
