|Incheon 2014 Asian Games Main Stadium|
Incheon 2014 Asian Games Main Stadium is inspired by the dynamics of wind and wave movements of the west sea while it also embodies an energetic yet serene image of Korean traditional dance motions in its curvaceous design. The stadium exhibits diverse sustainable solutions and environmental-friendly efforts in perfect harmony with the given nature throughout the stadium complex. With the ‘Eco Canal’ that embraces and pulls the flow of River Simgok on south and River Gongchon on north into the complex, it together creates a large green network with the north-south plaza encouraging lively and dynamic ambience for the visitors.
We designed this project jointly with Populous.
